SuperCopier™ Desktop Multi Channel Hard Drive Duplication unit
The SuperCopier™ is an industrial and extremely fast multiple purpose IT hard drive duplication unit. It can be use to perform hard drive drive duplication, hard drive imaging, hard drive cloning, hard drive erase, and hard drive quick format of many hard disk drives in very fast and efficient way. The unit performs at a very high transfer rate, in a very secure Linux environment, and with the most efficient user-friendly touchscreen icons application. The unit has a durable build with a desktop style, featuring an 8 channel open tray for easy hard drive insertion and connection, 8 SATA/SATA-3 ports, 6 USB3.0 ports. By default one SAS/SATA port and one USB ports are set to be source, but user have the flexibility to assign each port of the unit as source or target.
The SuperCopier™' application supports many modes of operations:
1) Imaging drives - 100% bit by bit with mirror copy
2) Duplication drives with a Quick Copy/Advanced Smart Copy - The application supports duplication data and files only, from many source drives that has the following file system: FAT/NTFS/exFAT/Linux EXT2-4 . Also the application automatically performs partition scanning and detection on the source drive, align partition, adjust partition size, automatic size partition from source to target, re-locate partitions by user choice on the targets hard disk drives.
3) Deploy drive - The application supports duplicate of data from one source to many targets
4) Erase operations - The application supports independent channel/port erase operations with the option to use erase protocols: DoD, Security Erase, or users define their settings.
5) Quick drive format - The application supports a quick format for NTFS, exFAT, FAT32, HFS+, and EXT4 file system.
The SuperCopier™ application runs under secured Linux OS (Linux OS is less targeted by viruses and malware)
Features
- Dedicated Secure Unit: Duplicate, Clone, Image, Deploy Erases and Formats storage devices (Hard Disk Drives, Solid State Drives, USB storage device, Multi Media Cards).
- 8 Channel HDD Open Tray: An easy to insert and plug tray, that accommodates any size and shape of Hard Disk Drives and storage devices, includes power status LED indicators.
- Display: 8-inch (800x600) resistive touch screen color LCD mounted on a display pad that can be adjusted for heights and angle of view (It also has an external VGA connector).
- Application: Intuitive touch GUI with large icons and easy navigation.
- OS: Linux.
- Speed/Transfer rate: Very efficient and extremely fast clone operation. Measured transfer rate is up to 31.5GB/min with SSD and up to 11GB/min with Seagate Barracuda 3TB HDD.
- Security: Linux OS. (Linux is less targeted by malware)
- Hard Drive Duplication Mode:
- Mirror Image 100% bit by bit for any size of master and target with any OS. Master and targets drives need to be the same make and size if user needs to boot from target drives.
- Quick Capture- Advanced Smart Copy mode where the cloning and deploying process is done with copy of files only and it supports master drives that has FAT/NTFS/EXT -2-3-4/ file system
- Automatic format and partitions target drives: On-the-fly during the duplication runs
- HPA/ DCO: Application supports detection, open, capture, resize, or erase from HPA/DCO special areas on the drive.
- Supports 48 bit addressing
- Flexible Port's Role Assignment: User can re-assign any port a role to be source or target.
- Versatility with Multiple Cloning Sessions: User can assigns one source many targets for one session of cloning. user can have many sessions of cloning, each will have source and at least one target, which gives the user more possibilities to use the unit in a very efficient way.
- Cloning Default Source Ports: One SATA port and one USB3.0 port are set as source ports for cloning operation.
- Cloning capabilities: SAS hard drives up to 1:7, SATA hard drives is up to 1:7 but with the use of USB3.0 to SATA adapters that can be clone up to 1:13, USB3.0 storage device clone up to 1:5.
- Erase Hard Disk Drive Protocols: The user can choose to erase the following HDD: DoD 5220-22M specs, Security Erase (no SAS, no USB), or set their own erase pattern and number of iterations.
- Supports Form Factor Devices: 3.5 inch, 2.5 inch, ZIF, 1.8 inch IDE, Micro-SATA, Mini-SATA.
- Support Interfaces: SAS/SATA/IDE/e-SATA, and USB. (User will need to purchase optional IDE kit to support IDE drives)
- Erase Multi-Media-Cards: Supports SD/CompactFlash/Memory Stick/ microSD with the use of a Multi-Media-Card reader via USB port.
- Erase mode Main Run Options:
- Continuous Mode: The user can run continuous erase operations with a multiple session operation. (The number of sessions are limited to the number of available CPU cores (8 for this unit). Each port, whether SAS/SATA or USB, can be used as an independent session for the erase operation. The user plugs a device into a port and can then run a session with the erase operation on the selected port. The user can abort the operation in the middle of the run, independent of other running sessions. When an erase session is completed, the user can continue to remove the erased device from the port and replace it with another device that needs erasing. All of this is possible while other sessions are still continuously running.
- Batch Mode: The user can select and run a single session with certain ports and devices. For example, you can combine all 8 channels into one session.
- Port Operation Screen Status: Each session/port has its own update status screen, where the user can view in real-time the updated progress of the operation.
- Log Files: Can be exported to external USB storage devices.
- Quick Format:
- Partition Table: Master Boot Record(MBR), GPT, MAC.
- File System: NTFS, ex-FAT, FAT32, HFS+(Mac), EXT4(Linux)
