PC-3000 Portable System
The PC-3000 Portable is a mobile hardware-software solution intended for diagnosing and repairing HDDs based on SATA (Serial ATA) and PATA (IDE) interfaces for numerous vendors (Seagate, Western Digital, Fujitsu, Samsung, Maxtor, Quantum, IBM (HGST), HITACHI, TOSHIBA), for various capacities (from 500 MB to 6 TB) and various form factors: 3.5" - desktop drives, 2.5" and 1.8" - laptop drives, 1.0" - portable drives with Compact Flash interface.
The PC-3000 Portable’s small size and its ability to be used with laptops, makes the PC-3000 Portable Professional System the ideal choice for recovering data on-site at your customer’s location.
The PC-3000 Portable software can be installed on any PC compatible computer with two USB 2.0 ports. For mobile usage we recommend using it with a laptop. The PC-3000 Portable has two active licenses that allows for installing its software on both a local computer and a laptop.
The PC-3000 USB Adapter-tester has two switchable diagnostic ports: 1 SATA port and 1 PATA port with a maximum data transfer speed of 66 MB/sec. Ports are switched automatically on PHY signal sent from the SATA drive.

Power supply adapter
A single-channel power supply adapter provides independent voltage supply and protection from overvoltage and current overloading. In case of any of these events, the HDD power supply is switched off automatically.
In addition, this channel has a feedback circuit with a special management software that controls the supplying voltage values + 5 V, + 12 V and informs the user about any issues with the feed circuit. The power supply adapter uses a certified external power module 220V/19V included in the PC-3000 Portable Kit.
